Subject: Not as bad...

This AUD, while far from decent sounding, is at least listenable. Jerry Moore's AUD from 03-25 is the best AUD of the Academy run, and even that isn't close to the sound quality of most early '70s tapes. But hey, when the SBD isn't available, wouldn't you rather have something than nothing? The others a too crusty and harsh to actually be listenable, so I'm not sure so many reviewers have graded this tape so harshly.

this recording is just plain awful!!! 0 stars for the awful recording. 5 for the amazing show! im listening to the uncirculated SBD on sirius radio's Grateful Dead Channel right now, and this show is full of energy and has some breathtaking moments. its a shame there isnt a decent recording out there excpet for in the sacred vaults. hope for a realease of this show!

Subject: Worst recording I have heard yet

I have downloaded about 200 tapes from this site so far. This is the only one I will not download. It is terrible. It wasn't just recorded in the rest room, but from inside the toilet tank! Shame too, 'cause it looks like a good set!

Subject: Low Sound Quality

This show has more noise from the crowd than the band. It's a shame, because less than thirty seconds into the song "Loser" there was an error in the recording. Bummer. One star.
